AGS secures new site in Spain

French anti-collision system manufacturer AGS opened its first location in Spain this April.
AGS BTP Iberica will operate from an office in Irun managed by J Eugenio Retuerto, former manager of Teknikran.
Currently it has five locations in France and two subsidiaries: AGS Middle East in Dubai and AGS BTP Asia in Singapore.
Four major anti-collision system contracts in the region have played a part in the decision.
AGS outfitted 18 Jaso Cranes for the Archidona prision, and 4 Potain and 3 Comansa cranes for a Shopping centre in Reus, as well as systems for the site of the future Banque Populaire and buildings in Murcia.
Its line of technical systems includes anti-collision, geolocation and video monitoring systems. In addition, anemometer system integrated with software. All of its systems can be adapted to meet safety requirements, AGS says, as it installs, tests and maintains systems for past and future generations of cranes.
The company, established in 2000, will continue to operate in Spain through its Mediterranean distributor, REYM 2000 and its distributor in Canada, Ireland, Switzerland, the UK, United Arab Republic, and the Netherlands.AGS secures new site in Spain
